HerPower is an initiative dedicated to celebrating, empowering and standing alongside refugee and host-community women and girls.
Guided by the tagline “With Her, For Her,” the initiative creates spaces where women and girls feel seen, valued, heard and supported. It recognizes the strength of mothers who continue fighting for their families, girls discovering their potential, women overcoming daily challenges, and those whose struggles often go unnoticed.
Through sport, community engagement, awareness activities and opportunities for connection, HerPower aims to promote well-being, strengthen solidarity and encourage women and girls to recognize their worth and potential.
HerPower is also a space to remember the women we have lost, stand with those facing difficult circumstances, and remind every woman and girl that she belongs, her voice matters and her dreams are valid.
We believe empowerment begins by listening to women, standing with them and creating opportunities alongside them — not simply speaking on their behalf.
